• Once sitting towards the rear of the block with a forward sloping, grassy front yard, this cottage was moved forward 12m, giving it an elevated ‘Queenslander’ appearance. Barely visible from the street, the rear extension is linked to the cottage via a glazed corridor, which effectively plugs into its back door.  Two courtyards flank this corridor, one being a second entry point to the home.  The original cottage contains 3 bedrooms and a bathroom that opens out to one of the aforementioned courtyards. Kitchen/living/dining and master bedroom open onto a north facing courtyard, giving the home light and ventilation year round.

It’s immediately evident this architecture is the work of an artist.
